Hey fellow 1Aians(:
First thing, the chalet.
I know alot of people refuses or keep forgetting to pay the $11.
It's a class effort, and although you're not going, you're still part of 1A 'o7 and afterall, don't the class and your friends deserve some recognition for the times we've pulled through together as one? $11, if everyone contributes that sum of money whether or not they're going, it shows our support for one another as a class, for maybe even the final time we can do something together.
Okaye luh, I know all of you are sick of those it's a class effort, must be enthu, must support each other lectures :3
So to cut it short, another reason why you should pay that $11 if you're not planning to or if you keep forgetting is that we've settled the money issue already and hence we end up with that $11 that each person has to pay. If you don't pay that $11, someone else has to pay for you or those other who has paid $11 still has to pay more.
I know the nightmares of getting your report book/file back is over, & that they're currently taken over by nightmares of Pan teacher hounding you for your $11 and classmates walking after you like zombies you can find on elm street or those creatures you find in halloween movies.(:
So to spare yourself from all that, just pay $11(:
It's fair and all chyeah.
To add on (for the last time (x), if everyone pays up, we'll have more to spend on the BBQ and that OCA's $200 won't evaporate so quickly. o.o
Second thing.
The transport to chalet.
Since the bus is only for safra members, the only transport we can take is
1. SBS Bus
2. Parents' cars
3. Taxi
4. Plane
5. Helicopter
6. Boat
7. Pan teacher self sacrificing himself to carry us there D=
8. Ehh a Pockey?
9. FLYING BROOMSTICK
Unless someone can kidnap and ransom HP, we won't be able to use 7 and 8 means of transport:D
Well the cheapest is the Bus, but I don't think anyone knows how to go using a bus and maybe there might not be one too o_o
I think taking a cab is a better idea than squashing yourself into Pan teacher's car. O_o Or like, underneath it. :X
But then there's financial issue and stuff so yar.
I guess we'll settle it on that day bah(:
Third thing.
Is there like, a shopping mall or some entertainment centre there? o_o
Cause we'll be bored to death waiting for the BBQ to start. o.o
I know there's a Bowling Alley and small arcade where there's Table Hockey so HURRAYE:D
Try bringing your own sports shoes, cause if not you'll need to rent it from them at some price before they allow you to bowl(:
There's a beach there if I'm not wrong so maybe we can wake up at 5am and catch the sunrise or go for a morning jog :3
We can hold a movie marathon so if you guys have DVDs and all do bring along.
Bring your laptops too cause we might still have nothing much to do :X
Besides all that, if there's a cinema near we can go watch midnight horror movies too and iono, scare ourselves together(:
Well, you can go play basketball.
Swim at the beach.
Start doing homework if you seriously have nothing better to do o____O

Fourth thing.
We're all proud we made it as a class together, not individually but as one(:
I know it's cheesy and all but truthfully, I never expected much from the class at the beginning of this year.
Friendship and stuff, including missing Primary school and all, yar, there were plenty of downs but much more ups(:
Whether we get streamed or not doesn't really matter, physically apart but mentally together, that's the key(:

Darn.The cleanliness I/C is busy.THERE IS A FLEA MARKET NEXT FRIDAY!!!and I'm in charge of it.WTF.So,what am I supposed to tell you is this.
Bring all your CRAP(a.k.a stuff you don't wan like underwears(JOKING))this friday OR next Monday.And give 'em to MEEEE.MEEE only.Yes.MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.Sorry.
Erm,what else...YES.Erm,yar,what you can bring is erm,prctically anything(NO UNDERWEARS PLEASE)like clothes(NO UNDERWEARS.SERIOUS),books,stationery,electrical appliances(not broken ones)and whatever you think is not broken,gonna be broken that is not broken,just bring 'em.I don't expect everyone to bring,but,yeah,do your best.
The flea market is on,erm,yeah,next FRIDAY.In the tower hall.COOL EH?Not for me.So,erm,hope you don't die on that day,'cause I might just die there.

OK... about the chalet thing.
Total for all should be around $330+$80=$410 for 3D2N and BBQ =)
and Pan lao shi is going to sponsor $50=) yay!!
so now total will be... $410-$50=$360
ok. so the chalet will be from 29-31 october and we will be checking in 29 october, 2 PM.
Will be meeting at 1Pm at tanah merah MRT station on 29 oct and will be taking shuttle bus to NSRCC ( cherlin said so). o.O.
Hmm... for payment, each will have to pay about 360/35=$11 =)
The BBQ we will be holding on the 2nd day and for the rest of the day, we will be eating out. on the 2nd day also, we will be having a night movie marathon and pls dun fall asleep. and pls stay over cuz there is 2 storeys. one for boys and one for girls. boys will be taking the 3 beds becuz there are too much gals and they cant squeeze into 3 miserably small beds so boys suffer and gals get all the living room space to themselves.i guess i shouldn't see anyboys walking in the living room after LIGHTS off bah. So ok i wan all money given to Queenie from nxt wednesday and all collection shud finish by last day of school cuz mus buy BBQ things so okays? =)mus RMB to bring $11 for the chalet. I think ppl hu are sleeping over some shud bring sleeping bags(zzz) becuz will be very squeezy so i guess i could jus ram everybody out of the beds.So pls rmb every thing and also pass around the message=)

REMEMBER OR DIE.
Hi darlings,
Just a few reminders okay?
Firstly, do remember to bring $1.50 for enterprise day, the latest is TUESDAY, & no later than that, otherwise you will have to pay double on Wednesday.
Next, start saving up/begging from parents $12 for the chalet.
$12 is just an estimated amount, the real amount will be confirmed at a later date.
Collection will most probably start end of next week or slightly later, so don't fret.
Lastly, the various departments for enterprise day, please start planning what to do, so that we, 1A the great, can work efficiently and ACE ok?
ENTERPRISE DAY PREPARATION:
1. The treasurers have to collect money ($1.50!!) from everyone.
2. Treasurers pass money to the finance leader (an elected leader), and the leader will safe keep it.
3. The finance people will dicuss with the various departments on
`what to buy
`how much to buy
`where to buy
`what type to buy
`etcetcetcetc.
4. After discussing, the finance people will buy the stuff.
5. After the other departments receive the stuff, they can get to work, && hopefully everything will be ready for enterprise day :D
*this is just a reeeally brief plan, change of it is unavoidable yeaaa.

ACE-OLOGY
"it's called ACE-OLOGY"
hey all potential 2a-ians!
(we alllll hope yea?)
Haha shout HURRAY HURRAY; for those (irritatingwtfURGH) exams are officially OVER!

&& its time to get high and hyper, darlings :D
(oh btw, throwing paper balls at unsuspecting and innocent victims that you very well know can't aim for nuts (like ME) is NOT being high or hyper, it's called IDIOTIC)
heh.
& about the whole entrepreneur thingy, here are some suggestions from you all in the 1a white board, and my personal evaluation:
STUFF TO SELL:
1. Cookies
selling cookies is a BRILLIANT idea, because everyone LOVES cookies!! But the only thing is, we will need a lot a lot a lot A LOT of cookies, and they cannot be baked until a few days before the actual day, so that it does not lose its freshness.
the price also cannot be too expensive, cause students will confrim compare our cookie prices with the fAMOUS AMOS ones in the canteen.
what we will need: a nice packaging (to attract more customers);
different flavours
LOTS of cookies
(ohoh, are foods even allowed??)
2. Friendship bands
friendship bands are also a good idea, bacause they are easy and quick to make, yet looks sophisticated.
we will be able to gain a profit but surely there are other classes that are making friendship bands too, so they will compare prices and we may have to lower them, and then we won't earn much?
& everyone can make their own friendship bands, so they probably won't even buy.
(unless we have some really UNIQUE and UNRARE designs that people won't know how to do)
what we will need: strings (colourful ones!)
lots and lots of nimble fingers!
3. the furry ball keychain
the furry balls are unique, and not everyone can make them, so we can definitely earn $$. But one ball (no sick thought people) can take a lot of time/effort/energy to make, and we may not have enough time.
then we have limited stock, when people want to buy we will not have enough then like very ke xi hor?
what we will need: yarn (colourful ones!)
skillful fingers
time and really patient people
4. balloons
balloons can earn, cause the girls will definitely buy those ohsocute flowers and all, but the thing is, can/do we know how to make it?? we need to be skilled, otherwise later we make make make then burst burst burst and we will suffer a loss de.
what we will need: balloons (duh)
really skilled people
people that aren't afraid of bursting balloons
5. drinks
if we wanna sell drinks, they have to really be appealing, because our prices will be comparable to the canteen/vending machine's prices.
also, they may be messy to make, and the packaging must be really nice and attractive for customers to buy.
(are food allowed in the bazaar?)
what we will need: syrups?
blender?
water
nice cups
take note:
all the above is just my personal evaluation, we will still discuss as a class in the end :D
everyone else can voice their opinions in the tagboard yea :)
and please, to all non-1a readers, do practice some integrity and originality;
1A does not like chao maos >:(

this event is just for everyone to have fun, no hard feelings, dude.

and we also need a committee, for instance:
1. the financial managers
they will be the ones calculating the profit/loss & also helping to purchase the stuff.
they have to ensure that there is no loss incurred and we will earn money.
have to be good in maths and be practical.
VERY IMPORTANT;
2. the manufacturers
they will be in charge of making the actual products itself.
have to be skilled in that area, and our products that we will selling lies in their hands.
have to be quick, and able to meet due dates.
need a lot of people in this committee.
VERY IMPORTANT TOO;
3. the publicity managers
will be in charge of advertising our products,
have to be creative& innovative.
also in charge of other offers (eg: free gifts, lucky draw, buy one get one free?)
however must discuss with the financial managers to ensure that we will still earn $.
VERY IMPORTANT THREE;
4. the purchasers
will be in charge of buying the stuff needed for the product, eg: the packaging, ingredients..
they will be working hand in hand with the financial managers, as they have to buy stuff that are cheap, and ensure that we will still earn a profit.
have to be street-smart, know where to get the cheaper goods.
will help with the promotions and offers.
VERY IMPORTANT FOUR!
all the above is just what i thought of, there are lots more to come!
and chalet,
total in $360, after minusing everthing one person need to pay $8/9??
okay will confrim the amount anytime soon.

Apparant reading- Reading with Parallax error.
Formulas such as Density= Mass/Vol and know how to apply if they give you some ulu problem sum.
Concepts such as what colour is the best radiator, and always remember that solids expand/contract the least while gases expand/contract the most.
Energy like How Geothermal energy works (hot rocks at centre of earth) , or Tidal energy is generated to electricity (through tidal gates) etc.
Remember to take note of these things & don't fret[:

so its $240 lor
every pay less than $10 for bbq food n 2 nights stay leh..cheap rite.
however if we ask panpan then its either $108 or $120 per night...
we will settle this after maths exams.. 1A JY!
